In Chicago, there have been a few cases where white policeman shot and killed unarmed black person. Some cases were cleared in court as justified action while some cases were determined as race motivated over use of force. In the US with relatively impartial court system, police brutality already is pretty common. I don't know how good is Taiwan's court system. I only know when I was in Taiwan, my feeling was almost as if I was a black person facing white policeman in the white neighborhood in the US.... |
